On 21-23 November 2018, The Atlantic Club of Bulgaria aims to organize a three-day workshop in Belgrade, Serbia, dedicated to the adoption of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 – Women, Peace and Security in 2000. The main goals of this project is to put together representatives from NATO Member States and partner countries who will discuss the development of the Resolution 1325, the need for common law, new understanding and more talks and research on this topic. The event is also inspired by the Advanced Research Workshop “Women building peace: What they do, why it matters – Resolution 1325” which took place in December 2016 in Podgorica, Montenegro. The very success of the workshop in Montenegro pushes us to go forward and continue developing on the topic, exchanging some good practices alongside with extending the range of the initiative.
We will invite respected and experienced representatives from Military, NGO, Government – total 21 speakers from NATO Member States and Partners countries.
