On 7 June 2012, The Atlantic Club of Bulgaria, together with the Embassy of the United States in Bulgaria and Solae, and with the special support of the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy, organized a conference, entitled „Food Policies and the Future of the Food Industry“.
The aim of the conference was to discuss European food policies and how they could influence the Bulgarian strategy for food industry development. The experts focused on the importance of the soy protein as an innocuous and healthy ingredient and debunked the myths regarding products, which contained soy protein.
The conference took place at 11:00 h, at the Sheraton Hotel, in Sofia.
