The Hall of Regional Administration in Burgas was filled with people, who wanted to pay their respect to the victimis of the terrorist attack of 18 July.
The event was organized by the Atlantic club of Bugaria and the organization of the jews in Bulgaria „Shalom“, sponsored by Burgas Minicipality and the Regional Administration.
Konstantin Grebenarov, Regional Administrator,Dimitur Nikolov, Mayor of Burgas and Solomon Passy, President of the Atlantic club of Bulgaria and H.E. Kamisa-Raz, Israeli Ambassador in Bulgaria expressed their condolences to the families of the innocent victims and stated that such tragedies should never happen again. The Ambassador H.E. Kamisa-Raz expressed gratitude to those who were sympathetic to the tragic event. He expressed his confidence towards his government that the tragic event should not affect, but rather strengthen the relations between Israel and Bulgaria. The mayor highlighted that the events from the 18 of July has gathered the people of Burgas closer: „I pray that such incidents do not happen ever again!“.
Among the guests were the honorary Orlin Mandov, Counselor of Israel in Burgas, Cem Ulusoy, General Counselor of Turkey in Burgas, representatives of the Jewish community, public figures and citizens.
Lika Eshkenazi enchanted the audience with magnificent performance of jewish songs and also acted as a host of the concert for the victims of the terrorist attack. Vocal ensemble “Aqua-Delia” and the Burgas choir “Mazal” and students from Burgas Music School sang in front of the portraits of the victims, which were surrounded by lit candles and many flowers.
